The Children’s Heart Gallery is a traveling photo exhibit that features and heightens the visibility of children in the foster care system who are awaiting their “Forever Families.”

The project harnesses the power of photography to capture each child’s unique spirit and story. The photo profiles are featured online and on exhibits in larger public forums like churches, airports and malls. With the aid and support of the media and the public, The Children’s Heart Gallery continue to assist child advocates with finding forever homes for hundreds of children in foster care each year.

The #LoveUp Foundation celebrated the launch of a new photographic exhibit in May of 2014 at Scottsdale Fashion Square by hosting a ribbon cutting with the help of Governor Brewer and other foster care advocates.

It is our hope that every child featured on the Heart Gallery will be adopted into a safe and loving home.

The #LoveUp Foundation continues to grow our involvement with the Children’s Heart Gallery by providing the following support:

Underwriting the Photo Shoots
Securing Photographers
Securing Make-Up Artists
Providing clothing for the children
Providing Food and Beverage for the children
Securing Volunteers
Securing venues for the photo shoots
Creating and underwriting the actual Children’s Heart Gallery Exhibit
Procuring Locations to showcase the Gallery

It only takes one to help one.
BE THAT ONE AND #LOVEUP
As a child, can you imagine being removed from your home, sometimes in the middle of the night and only being able to take a plastic garbage bag with a few belongings? This is the sad reality for many children in the foster care system.

The Johnjay & Rich #LoveUp Foundation was created to promote the #LoveUp Movement of spreading love and kindness throughout the community and to support the most vulnerable children living within the foster care system. #LoveUp programs are funded by private and corporate donations, as well as the sale of #LoveUp shirts.
